Tax Reporting Guidance with Coretax System
To support of the digital tax transformation driver by the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) through the implementation of the Coretax system, our partner, Almaida Askandar, S.H., MBA, initiated and acted as the moderator for an ILUNI FHUI webinar entitled “Tax Reporting Guidance (Corporate & Individual) with Coretax.” This event was held online on Wednesday, 22 April 2026.
The webinar was attended by Ibu Inge Diana Rismawanti, Director of Counselling, Services, and Public Relations at the Directorate General of Taxes, who delivered her remarks after the opening speech by the Chairperson of ILUNI FHUI, Yusuf Didi Setiarto. The background of this activity is to assist in providing guidance to taxpayers, both individual and corporate, who need direction in understanding general tax provisions and are experiencing technical difficulties in using Coretax. The webinar was organized with competent speakers, represented by Bapak Adi Wiyono, S.E., M.M., serving as a Junior Tax Counseliing Officer at the Directorate of Extension, Services, and Public Relations of the Republic of Indonesia, and Ibu Nindia Imantika, Tax Manager at RSM Indonesia.
On this webinar, Ibu Inge Diana Rismawanti conveyed that this moment should be utilized considering the deadline for corporate tax reporting is 30 April 2026, and individual taxpayers have been given a relaxation period until the end of this month. Therefore, it is expected that taxpayers can set aside time to submit their tax reports on time.
Mr. Adi Wiyono explained the general tax provisions for corporate taxpayers and provided technical guidance on filling out reports, which differs from the previous system, along with simulations and proper filling techniques. This was followed by Mrs. Nindia Imantika, who explained the general tax provisions for individual taxpayers and provided technical guidance on filling out reports, which also differs from the previous system, along with simulations and techniques to make the process easy and accurate. Both speakers answered various participant questions, including changes to the NPWP (Taxpayer Identification Number) format to 16 digits, where the NPWP for Individual Taxpayers uses the NIK (National Identity Number); the reporting mechanism for married couples where, although the tax is joint, the reports are still filed separately; tax treatment for non-profit organizations; and the procedures for deactivating and reactivating an NPWP.
The webinar ran effectively, and it is hoped that participants will gain a comprehensive understanding as well as the technical skills to report their tax obligations in a timely manner and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia.
